People who have been homeless needed for UQ study
People aged between 20 and 30 who have been homeless as a teenager or young adult are needed for a University of Queensland study.
The PhD study by Linda Velli aims to increase understanding of the effects of homelessness on youth development.
"Most young people make the transition into adulthood however homeless young people face a number of additional challenges which may alter the courses of their lives," Ms Velli said.
"Factors such as reduced educational opportunities, poor health, exposure to violence and constant address changes may make it more difficult for homeless young people to achieve the same outcomes as others."
All information collected will be strictly confidential and people's names are not required. For more information, contact Ms Velli (telephone 07 3365 6472).
